Currently the LWV of the Nutley Area is working on -
- the candidates' night for the Nutley Board of Education hopefuls, a moderated public forum in which each candidate can explain his or her position on relevant education issues and citizens may ask questions of the candidates.

- is open to men and women 18 years or older.
- Annual dues are $60 for single adults, $90 for a household of two adults, and $25 for students 18 years and older.
- Membership in the League of Women Voters of the Nutley Area includes membership in the LWV of the United States and the LWV of New Jersey.
- Dues are not tax deductible.
